Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat Bids Farewell to Assistant Divisional Secretary
A farewell ceremony for Mr. P. Piranavarupan, the Assistant Divisional Secretary of the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat, was held on September 2, 2025, at the Divisional Secretariat's conference hall. The event was presided over by the Divisional Secretary, Mrs. Rahulanayahi Sajindren. Mr. Piranavarupan is being transferred to the Karaitivu Divisional Secretariat.
The event was attended by a number of officials, including Accountant Mr. K. Risvi Yahzar, Deputy Planning Director Mrs. T. Kirubairajah, Administrative Officer Mr. O. K. Keerthi Kusuminda, and Additional District Registrar Mr. P. Niththiyananthan. Also in attendance were the Chief Management Service Officers, Grama Niladhari Officers, Samurdhi Development Officers, Economic Development Officers, office and field staff, Office Employement Service Officers, and other officials from the Divisional Secretariat.
All attendees extended their well wishes and gratitude to Mr. Pranavaroopan for his service and presented him with gifts.
Mr. P.Piranavarupan, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) graduate from the University of Peradeniya, was appointed to the Sri Lanka Administrative Service on March 5, 2019. He has served with distinction at the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration and the Mahaoya Divisional Secretariat. He has been serving as the Assistant Divisional Secretary of the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat since September 23, 2021.
