Training course for Village Level Service Officers on identification and rehabilitation of drug addicts
A training session for Divisional Secretariat officers serving at the village level to identify drug users and guide them to rehabilitation was held on 25.09.2023 at the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat meeting hall.
In this event, under the leadership of Divisional Secretary R.Rakulanayaki, Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr.P. Pranavaruban, Deputy Director of Planning Mrs.T. Kirubairaja, Samurthi Head Quarter Manager Mr.S. Sivam, and other officials such as Grama Niladharies, Economic Development Officers, Samurthi Development Officers, and other field officers also participated. M.M.G.B.H. Razad, Coordinator for the North and Eastern Provinces, National Hazardous Substances Control Board, was present as the resource person on the occasion. The event was sponsored by Akkaraipattu Islamic Relief.
