International Children's Day Events - 2023
On the occasion of International Children's Day, the Children's Day event organized by the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat took place on October 4, 2023, at Chavalakada Sports Ground.
The event was organized with the participation of children with disabilities, including pre-school students and members of children's clubs under the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat. The Department of Probation and Child Care Services and the Department of Cultural Affairs, along with non-governmental organizations such as Deaflink, SWOAD, and ADWN, along with Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat staff such as Mohammad Sajid (Muslim Cultural Officer) and J. Jesila Parveen (Management Service Officer), also sponsored the event. Divisional Secretary R. Rahulanayaki presided over the event. Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. P. Pranavaruban, Deputy Director of Planning Mrs. T. Krubairajah, Administrative Officer Mr. K. Yogeswaran, Manager of Samurdhi Head Quarter Mr. S. Sivam, and Additional District Registrar Mr. P. Nithyanandhan were also presented on the occasion. In addition, Grama Niladharies, Samurthi Bank Managers, Economic Development Officers, Samurthi Development Officers, and other field and office staff also participated.
