Independence Day 2024
On the occasion of the 76th Independence Day of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the main Independence Day events organized by the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat were held at the Divisional Secretariat premises on 04.02.2024.
This event presided over by Mr. Rahulanayaki, the National Flag was hoisted and the National Anthem was played and school children also participated in cultural dress to reflect the ethnic and religious diversity of Sri Lanka. During this, a tree was planted by the Divisional Secretary in the Divisional Secretariat premises and a special speech was delivered by the Divisional Secretary regarding Independence Day. Also in this event, Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. P. Piranavarupan, Divisional Secretariat Accountant Mr. K. Risvi Yahzar,Administrative Officer Mr. K. Yogeswaran, Samurthi Head Quarter Manager Mr. S. Sivam, Additional District Registrar Mr. P. Nithyanandhan, Chief management service officers of branches and divisional secretariat officers were also present.
