Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat Distributes First President's Fund Heart Surgery Aid of LKR 300,000
The President's Fund services have been decentralized to the Divisional Secretariat level, enabling direct payments for applications submitted online to be processed through Divisional Secretariats. Under this program, the first beneficiary from the Centralcamp-06 Grama Niladhari Division in the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat received a medical assistance payment of 300,000 rupees for heart surgery.
The cheque presentation ceremony took place on August 4, 2025, at the Divisional Secretariat’s conference hall, presided over by Divisional Secretary Mrs. Rahulanayahi Sajindran.
The event was attended by Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. P. Piranavarupan, Accountant Mr. K. Risvi Yahzar, Deputy Planning Director Mrs. T. Kirubairajah, Samurthi Headquarters Manager Mr. S. Sivam, Administrative Grama Niladhari Mr. Manoj Indrajith, Social Services Officer Mr. C. Kunaratnam, Grama Niladhari A.A. Vaseema Banu, and Subject Officer Mrs. T. Mayuratha.
